Re sa Cap FAQ's
What size are your baby hats?
Our Re sa Cap is designed to fit newborn babies up to six months. Although your hat will likely be a bit big for a newborn, we size our baby hats to maximize the amount of time your baby will be able to wear his or her cap. Because all of our baby hats are hand-made, all sizes are approximate.
How do I care for my Re sa Cap?
You should hand wash our baby hats in warm water using a gentle cleanser, and lay them flat to air dry. Because our products are made with hand-dyed yarn, the color will likely bleed the first few times you wash them. With the proper care, your Re sa Cap will be a wonderful keepsake baby gift for years to come.
I've heard that angora can cause an allergic reaction, is this true?
Our sumptuous hand-dyed yarn is made from a blend that is 30% lambswool and 70% angora rabbit fur. Angora can act as an allergen in some cases. We suggest that you wash your Re sa baby hat before use in order to minimize any possible risk of reaction. If you are concerned about the possibility of an allergic reaction, please do not purchase a LibraKnits Re sa Cap.
Is the Re sa Cap itchy on baby's head?
Our unique yarn is made from a blend that is 30% lambswool and 70% angora. While the Re sa Cap does contain some lambs wool, the angora ensures that the hats remain soft and do not irritate or become itchy on baby's head.
What does "Re sa" mean?
The phrase Re sa, loosely translated, is the Buddhist concept of hope. We named our product the Re sa Cap because LibraKnits wishes each baby who wears our hat all the best hope for a vibrant future full of joy and happiness.
