At LibraKnits, we believe that one of the most important parts of running a business is philanthropy. Every once in a while, we end up with a luxurious handmade baby hat that, while lovely and wearable, isn't quite up to the rigorous standards that we require of our products. Fortunately, we've found a wonderful charity where we can donate these hats, and know that they will go to children in need all over the United States.

Stitches from the Heart is a wonderful 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Southern California. Their volunteers knit lovingly-made little hats, booties, sweaters and blankets for needy babies all over the country. In addition, they provide knitting supplies to elderly volunteers looking for a project and have opened a nonprofit knitting store in Santa Monica!!!
